PressureDeck Sky Cards turns an iPhone's built-in barometer into a pocket-sized antique storm-glass instrument for weather-watching hobbyists, hikers, sailors, and gardeners. The app reads live atmospheric pressure, runs it through the classic public-domain Zambretti forecasting table, and lets the user save the result as a collectible 'sky card' — a small snapshot combining the reading, trend, forecast phrase, and an optional photo of the sky. Everything is processed and stored locally on-device: there is no account, no server, and no data collection, making the privacy story simple and transparent. On devices or simulators without a barometer sensor, the app degrades gracefully to a fully functional manual-entry mode so no feature is ever a dead end.

Live Pressure Gauge: an animated analog aneroid-style dial driven by CMAltimeter relative-pressure readings, showing current hPa and a 3-hour rising/falling/steady trend arrow, with automatic fallback to a manual pressure-entry dial on devices/simulators without a barometer sensor
Zambretti Forecast Engine: combines pressure trend, a manually set wind direction, season, and hemisphere through the classic public-domain Zambretti lookup table to produce a plain-language forecast phrase (e.g. 'Unsettled, Showers Later') with a short confidence note
Manual Wind Compass Dial: a hand-rotatable on-screen compass (no location permission required) for setting true wind direction, feeding the forecast engine without any sensor or privacy permission overhead
Sky Snapshot Cards: save the current pressure, trend, forecast text, and an optional sky photo (via PhotosUI picker) as a flippable collectible card into a browsable, relabel-able personal deck
Pressure History Chart: a Swift Charts line graph of saved sessions with min/max markers and shaded bands highlighting rapid-drop periods, labeled as informational 'unsettled weather likely' zones with zero push alerts or notifications
Cloud Identification Gallery: a seeded illustrated encyclopedia of 10 cloud types (cirrus, cumulonimbus, stratus, etc.) with typical altitude band, associated pressure pattern, and plain-language weather meaning
PressureDeck Sky Cards does not collect personal data — everything stays on your device, with no third-party tracking or advertising SDKs. Read the full Privacy Policy.
